As I walk by a bunch of seniors with my hound in the park next to the high school, a boy yells, "Nice dog, ma'am!"

"Ma'am?" I think, amused. I'm not that old!

"Beautiful. Just like the owner," chimes in another, grinning.

I almost feel sorry for the girls in skimpy outfits begging for their attention, but all eyes are on me in my yoga pants and crop top.

"Thanks," I mutter, quickening my pace.
