It is never a male athlete.
One can imagine the outrage if only male athletes were depicted. Just saying.

I know we want to be inclusive, but there is no joy in scrutinizing absolutely EVERYTHING.
I don’t think every ad now needs to include males, females, transgenders, Blacks, whites, Asians, gay couples, interracial couples, straight couples (every other I missed) or someone’s offended.
I think the problem of exclusion is shifting to one of looking to point out faults everywhere.

I'm sorry, that's just not right. Men will most certainly not be "wiped out." That would be self-defeating. A small percentage will be kept alive for the obvious utilitarian reasons. It will only be the rest that will be disposed of as time and organic processing permits. It is a practical solution for all concerned.

Actually this is an interesting point, recent studies have shown that men and women 18-29 are diverging on the political spectrum - men are trending more conservative and women more liberal and it’s getting wider. Men truly do feel persecuted. Movements like the 4B movement in South Korea are gaining traction.
It’s interesting, when women didn’t have representation we were told it was market driven but men today don’t accept that narrative. It’s almost like they knew the entire time it was absolute rubbish.

Yours is one of the more intelligent comments. You are right; inclusivity doesn't need to be included in every commercial, but as there are different commercials (with the same style, you think they would put a man in some versions. There are other examples; in a Carvana ad, the woman is clearly hen-pecking her husband; in Expedia travel ads, it is almost always young women off having adventures; Spectrum ran an ad for a long where the man has picked the wrong cable company. In a PSA on Autism, a female voiceover depicts mostly women/girls struggling with Autism, although Autism is more common in boys. If a financial company depicts a shady (remember Schwab ads with "Carl") character, the shady character is a man. This list goes one.
